I was just in Louisville. West side of town. Had train tracks and low bridges. None of my gps’s wanted to fool with it. Or route what would work. But at least Hammer provided the clearances on each bridge/street. Was nice. I still doubted my info. Didn’t trust it till I saw the street sign. 13’9”. Then I took that one.
I’m liking Hammer more and more. Mostly for info not provided by others. Like the above.
Those guys there would laugh about the low bridges and trucks. One told me he’s seen two rental trucks rip the top off right there. 11’10” clearance.

    I gotta use this more.
I’m on a run. Nothing but hammer could come up with the right address and zip code. Then Garmin said 22 miles out. Hammer said 7.8 miles out. I went with Hammer. Found a longish bridge. Garmin having a fit that it’s 25tons max. The road sign said: yes! 25 tons max for two axles. 5 axles is 43 tons max.
I’m getting tired of Garmin misleading.
Saying freeway closed. When they’re scheduling lanes closed at night.
One Hwy north of Denver. It’s cuts across nicely from i76 to i25. Garmin has a hissy fit about no trucks. When in one town. They don’t want trucks turning south off the Hwy. Then the scenic tours through the countryside. When the truck stop is on the freeway.
And don’t forget the Garmin labeling tolls. When it’s only the express lane that is toll.

Where do you people get your info from?
I just got two more. This is the only app that knew where the address is.
There is the possibility that google is purposely becoming more belligerent.
I don’t know what is going on with Garmin. Lots of errant bs. I update it a lot.

I would like to know if I can set this to more freeways? Have set the avoid highways on. It was choosing slow highways too much. Not tested yet.

    H3R3T1C Thanks this.
