Coolant pressure buildup

    HI,
    My coolant is overflowing from the coolant tank, looks like hot air is blowing to the tank, when the coolant temperature is between 180 and 190, still have spitting coolant.
    I have changed my coolant tank and the thermostat and even radiator but still having the same issue. What would be the issue come from? is it from the bad air compressor or cylinder head

    I’m no truck mechanic...but it sounds like you need one. Could be a head gasket issue, a liner issue a head issue. There are tons of spots that compression could be getting into your cooling system. What engine are you working on?

    I'm working on 2012 volvo d13 I have check the engine oil even tested it for water in engine oil that looked OK

    Ok I would test the coolant to see if combustion is mixing with it.

    Check the EGR cooler and the air compressor. Injector cups could also cause the cooling system to over pressurize.

    If you're floundering and replacing big dollar parts on a hunch, I would suggest simply taking it to someone who knows how to diagnose. Its cheaper than throwing parts at it for no reason.
