Truck runs into the woods on I 65 SB in TN yesterday

    I was heading North. I couldn t see it . It was a TV crew, 3 fire trucks, hazmat crew, and 2 TN troopers on the shoulder when I went by

    Probably ruptured the fuel tanks and or crossfeed when it went into the trees.
    Something about 65 makes trucks go into the trees for some reason or another-even on the uphill sections!

    The truck must have been stopped by the first big tree it ran into because there's no sign of using the brakes.

    I have. Once, a mail hauler fell asleep near Tomah, Wis, went into a tree filled median, and literally ripped the truck to shreds. Hood, wheels, fuel tanks, the only thing intact was the cab where the guy was sitting. They think the motor is what saved him. Lucky guy, but his driving days were over.
