Boy, Ol Buck would've been just what you were look'n for.. Dirt cheap, short 174" wheelbase, beacons, mirrors that scope out to 15' wide, cheater window, hydraulic tag along, & gooseneck ball hitches,... Was a shanty shaker when I got her.. lol

Ahhhh, I hate the mack 5 speed with a passion of a thousand suns! There is sooo much between gears it's not funny. I love the trucks....just not the old motor or trans in them.

Not a U model but I'm pretty sure this is still on the truck paper. Single axle CH 300 maxidyne 5sp for 11,500. Really clean looking I'll try and find it again. You could probably get it for 9k maybe even a tad lower Lol just bc of the 5sp

Marianna, FL for the evening. Crazy stupid is out in force today, figured we'd call it before getting infected with it.

Hate when that happens. Hopefully they didn’t tear things up other than the pipe stake.
    Was it a rookie loader?

Boy if you parted with that chevy. It would make a nice single axle dump. Always had better luck with the Carter AFB than holley on the 427 tall decks.

@clausland Dad had a few C70. Used as mill trucks. Get out heavy with a light weight. Then switch trucks and send it. This one was the last. Pulled covered wagon spread and hopper. 427 tall deck mild cam, progressive 5x2 single drive. 3" dual exhaust. It was not quick, but would run with the big rigs out on the turnpike. I might have done some moonlight work at less that voting age in it. 3.5mpg on a good day, if I remember.
Sorry its a pic of a pic. Best I have tonight. Yes its a Chevy with a GMC grill. Just what we had in new parts when it was painted. Motors normally were cooked at 120-130k miles.
