• Experienced: 32 cents per mile loaded and empty (includes per diem)
• Recent CDL Graduate: 31 cents per mile loaded and empty (includes per diem)
• 5 cents per mile increase after 6 months of continuous service

New drivers are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. This is paid in 4 Installments of $1,250 after completing 30, 60, 90, & 120 days.
Great Equipment
As a company driver, you will have access to great equipment including the Kenworth T680 equipped with the PACCAR MX engine which is fuel efficient, environmentally friendly and very quiet. All trucks have automatic transmissions which mean less fatigue in traffic, a safer, smoother ride, and great fuel mileage. All trucks have condo cabs, dual bunks, refrigerators, Auxiliary Power Units, power inverters and are satellite radio-equipped.

At their option, Independent Contractors who wish to lease a tractor through ONE Leasing will have access to this same great equipment.

Driver Retention Bonus
After the final month installment of the Sign-On bonus, drivers will receive a retention bonus every month they are employed with TransAm. Company drivers will receive $200 each month he or she is continuously employed with TransAm Trucking. Independent Contractors will receive $250 each month he or she is continuously contracted with TransAm Trucking.

Tuition Reimbursement Program
TransAm Trucking offers a tuition reimbursement program to our student drivers. We want to invest in you and help you repay your truck driving school loan. We hire graduates of truck driving school programs across the country and we will reimburse $125 per month up to $6,000.

Qualification Requirements

• Valid CDL-A
• Minimum 21-years-old
• No DUI convictions in last 2 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 6-month period
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 12-month period
• No more than 3 moving violations in 3-year period
• No reckless driving violations in the last 5 years
• DOT physical & drug screen required
• Required to take the tractor and trailer home during home time and must have secure place to park the equipment at home location

Then again, some people thrive on having company.

 

That's solo pay. Friend of mine worked there for about a year.

 

Well when I was in school a few years ago they were paying .26 for teams.

 

Yeah, I remember when TransAm was a 2nd chance company.
Really cracked down the past 3 or so years.

 

Pretty similar with my last company to crst pay rates, but I got put on a dedicated account the past few months and got paid decent bit more than average for the company.

First 6 months was terrible with it being .30 cpm first 3 months, then .35 after that . Also had one really terrible truck September - December that kept me constantly in the shop.

 

Wild west express is desperate for drivers. They keep begging me to come back even after all my reviews of them. They might take you.

 

My cousin was on a Walmart dedicated out of Grandview Washington with Western Express. That's not a bad dedicated account

 

I thought about that one also; does Wild West Express still require 6 mos. experience? Used to require 3 yrs. experience, then a recent ad has 6 mos experience.
Anyway, Chef$$$ already found a job.
