You'd be better off with a single axle tractor and a sleeper. A 3500 won't get anymore mpg. Opens you up to a wide variety of stuff

Also consider the insurance for a new entrant MC/DOT # it won't be cheap. We're talking 12-15k on the very low end and as much as 25-30k-ish unless you plan on leasing on to someone
