Mc Donald's is actually the cheapest I have ever seen it in forever as are all the mega fast food corporations, the only thing I can figure is that with the pandemic most restaurants are hurting and they're trying to drive the last nail in the coffin of smaller restaurants.

McDonald's has a buy one get another breakfast sandwich for $.25. Dominoes let's me buy a large or extra large pizza with 8 ingredients for $8. Subway has a BOGO deal and I'm sure there are others.

I have heard rumors that Subway is dying a very slow death and has been for years.
Covid is probably the only thing they have going for them right now

I get a lot of exposure to younger people online. There's a trend going on right now, intentionally spelling things wrong (keyboard mashing). it's grown to follow in speech now also. It's just trends/fads. It's common.

That's where "HODL" came from. Someone keyboard mashed, meant to say "HOLD" and it stuck. It came to mean "Hold On for Dear Life."

I think it started in online computer gaming. Then when COVID hit, everyone got bored and entered stock trading/crypto markets because they couldn't work, and spread over there. Now even Elon Musk does it. So it's pretty much a thing now. LoL

HOw odd....all those poor poor "small businesses" (McDonnalls small?) who couldnt POSSIBLY PAY ANYONE $15/HR are doing so now..and some are paying more than $15. And yet....and yet...they are somehow still in business!!!! Hmmm...Im shocked, !
I know its not fun to have to use your profits to pay staff but THATS THE GAME you signed up for when you started your business.
I grew up in a small NorCal college town and I watched so many little mom and pop stores open and close...WHy? Because they, the owners, DIDNT WANT TO WORK! I know because I worked for a few them. They wanted to open a biz, hire some kids , pay them stink, and then DRIVE AROUND IN THEIR GD Bimmer or Merc and STACK THE CASH...The stores that did well were the ones where the owners got in there and busted hump to get the job done and paid a fare wage. they always had plenty of good workers. Im done.

You are in the minority of your generation. You have developed a work ethic despite the odds being stacked against you. Keep doing what you are doing. It will pay off big time in the long run. You are currently in the top 20-25% of your generation. Congrats on learning how to work and be productive.:D

God bless you and your entire family! What company are you working for?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

Practically every Company has raised their pay over the last 12 months. Some more than once. Danny Herman has a new pay scale effective June 1st. PXL_20210514_194234338.jpg

It is very easy to get 3000 miles per week at DHT. I am usually in the 3200-3500 range.
