I can’t deal with the sound they make with the plop, I’ll go off on someone quick.

I was asked a question by a 16 year old that knows every fricken thing, so I don’t know why he asked me, but it was something like..,
“Yo, pops..”
Me interrupting, “Boy, you wanna get punched in the mouth or just slapped across the room? You’ll then see a pops..”
Anyway...
“What kind of music you listen too when you were my age..?”

Me “I got some vinyl records behind the entertainment center in a boot box if you want to listen.”

him”you mean cds?”

“No, there’s a KISS album and a Robin Trower album that’s real good, got caravan tickets midnight on it.”


“Ask mom to put it on the record player... but there’s a huge box of cds and cassettes in some more boxes under the bed.”
Then the question that came up about girls.
I told him he was much to young to worry about ruining his life right now, but to remember two things.

1. A wife becomes your mom, before you can leave the house, she wants to know where your going, when you’ll be back, who will be there, and you might not be allowed to go without getting in an argument.
2. Never marry below you.”

he asked if I married below me, I told him the truth, I didn’t marry below my standards, but his mom did.
It works out because I have learned when I just need to be quiet,
Or just start to talk when she over talks me, and I keep acting as I have something to say to see how long she’ll talk over me.

Was that bad advice?

Sausage egg and cheese hashbrown bowl, with a chili topper.

Blueberry waffle was not available for a photo.........

Off to bed, gotta get up at 0100 to head for VA to help make some beer.

 

Also got a thermos refill for free.
