That’s when you bluff, check in and see and when they say they’re working on it, tell them take all the time they need, your elog shows how long you been there and after 2 hours the company charges $100/hour you get $25/hour of it.
They’ll try and get you outta there.

Tough being in Maine... We just drive 6 blocks from our old shop to the local
bearing house, toss the old one on the counter, man glances down and says:
How Many? As he walks back to get, he hollers: Frog, bill Roger for # ??.
    Frog, he's da clerk there.

Problem on this 1 is my load is coming in off their trucks. They told me at check-in it would be a while, so I really don't get why they schedule the appointment for earlier than their trucks can be unloaded.

Such inconsiderate inconvenience... Bet they don't make a habit of it.

Seems as if the "slab" needs to be lowered to meet the row of bolt holes beneath.

Who’s going to be the first to cross it in a Truck? Looks like 2” of wood and a 2” flat beam, scabbed together. Only going to crack again somewhere else. I’ve been a studying such things lately. It’s the middle 2/3 of any span that deflects. In my case, means I need a few more floor joists for my kitchen tile. so the grout doesn’t crack. In that case, yikes!! My Grandfather. and Uncle both drowned in the Mississippi River. Near Vicksburg, one year apart to the day. My Mother was 6 at the time. She never went swimming once in her life. I’m avoiding that bridge. Bad enough being stuck on 1-10 in Baton Rouge while the bridge bounces.
