Don't think anything happened to him.

He just caught heat from people here regarding some of the ways he went about things, as the picture above illustrates.

Repowered a load in Houston. The little ones deliver in Houston. Then mobile. Yes someone’s loaded it like that. 7k for the large ones. But whatever. I’ll move it when I drop the little ones

At least I got step back after a month

If they loaded at Genie they don’t ask you how you want they loaded. They generally will only load in stop order. That’s why we go right across the street and scale. They are pretty good with weights.

Everyone seems to be forgetting what caused that to happen. He was loading at at place that wouldn’t let him load himself (he was previously a heavy equipment opp). The guy loading his was in experienced and panicked when it came to the break over point, he paused, tried to straighten the machine while it was rocking back and forth. He would have been fine if he kept going.
The ramps are rated at 20k each if I recall correctly.
Too many people here think there’s only in trailer type for each load. We haul all kinds of loads that would be better suited on a different trailers. In his case he had a step deck. In our case we are often trying to relocate equipment for the next load. For instance we regularly haul 12’ wide aircraft parts from KS to Wa on flatbeds. This week they are going on RGNs because we have a bunch of RGN loads in WA for a project.

Also the post with the dozer that brought all this back up was on a Hunt truck. They do a lot of RORO fright, maybe exclusively. I think that know what loads can go on a step. They could obviously do some more training with their new drivers.

Google says that machine weigh 44k . still over on the ramps if is 20k each. I get what ur saying about do what ya gotta do to get the job done, sometimes its not always the right equipment.

But there has to be a line drawn somewhere and customer need to pay for the right equipment as most times it is because the customer are cheap skates and want to pay the lowest rate possible or company wants to underbid other offers to secure a contract or a couple loads even if it is really not the best equipment for the job..... Just my 2 cents ... Im not an equipment hauler and dont claim to know what im talking about.... Just my view from the far side of the fence
