    When I started driving in the mid 90s, the speed limit for trucks was 60 mph days and 55 at night. That 800+ across Tx no matter whether it was I-10, I-20. or 10,20 30 was just a terrible long ride.

    A little trivia - El Paso is closer to San Diego than it is to Beaumont, and Beaumont is closer to Jacksonville than it is to El Paso.

    I got stuck in Texas for five months waiting on IRP and IFTA, so I'd gotten used to how big the 100-mile radius circle looked in the map view on ITS. Pretty sobering to see that same radius up in the Northeast. Made the same circle look gigantic when I was so used to it being a little blip.

    If you’re talking about the local driver limit, I believe that was recently increased to 150 miles.
