That's why I do not trust anyone I'm working around until I observe their work habits. Learned that from 40 yrs of trucking. Some ppl you know will do it right. Others are stupid and do not pay attention. Good luck with your dilemma. Respect for stepping up and lending a hand.

    You don't have insurance?

None of this bickering really helps

Everyone should give their advice, based on what the OP posted, and move on

The judging and digging are detrimental to this community. Stop kicking people that are down

Listen up guy. Im a flatbedder and Id #### sure figure out a way to do my job and make sure my bills are paid and my family is taken care of.

We're all responsible for our own stuff. You got up in another companies trailer. That's on you. Maybe this will teach you to pay more attention in the future.

They make metal splints to protect broken fingers. Use one. It will allow you to keep securing your loads. You should only be down for the surgery. You say metal is needed in the finger. That doesn't sound like a break. That sounds like a crush. To replace a badly damaged bone. Normally only reason for metal in fingers.

Sounded like more serious than a 'finger brace/get back to work' sort of thing (I have aftermarket parts myself)
