Are you looking for locations of DOT scales? Trucker Path is good for that.
The Weigh My Truck app by CAT Scale is great. No need to park and go inside for your ticket.Dieselboss, alds, Coffey and 1 other person Thank this. -
Here’s a good one tho, buy a road atlas. It has all the permanent scales listed.
Then buy a truck stop guide or use the app and find the cat scale closest to you or closest on your route.
Scale legal then don’t sweat it. -
Years ago, a friend somehow picked up a blacklist of scales phone numbers. She would call from a nearby exit, if they answered, they were probably open, and went around them.

But yeah tack path only is definitely great option and app.TroyTruck, Dieselboss and PacoTaco Thank this. -
MTN Boomer, TroyTruck and bzinger Thank this.

Guess I need one after all. I screwed up yesterday and didn’t get a chance to scale before hitting a weigh station.
Knew I was gonna be way way heavy on my trailer axle so decided I’d pretend I didn’t see the sign.
It worked but I’ve never sweated that much before in my life.
I still think there should be an exception for going to the closest in route cat scale.Timin770 Thanks this. -
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.
