What i find disgusting is that it seems he is not doing major jail time. Most likely they will deport him and he will just go get a diffrent ID and/or a diffrent truck and come right back to kill someone else.

First paragraph of this article:
"On June 9, the FMCSA issued Cecilio Eliut Camacho-Montoya a federal order prohibiting him from operating a commercial vehicle in the Unites States."
Final paragraph of said article:
"Camacho-Montoya must complete the statutorily required return-to-duty process overseen by a Substance Abuse Professional before he is allowed to return to operating commercial vehicles in the U.S."
Huh, what? Is anyone as confused as I am?Bud A., Dave_in_AZ and GoneButNotForgotten Thank this. -

From the article:
"The first test sample showed a breath alcohol content (BrAC) of 0.222; the second, 0.214. Approximately four hours after the crash, at the Ada County Jail, Camacho-Montoya tested at 0.080, with a fourth showing at 0.078. "
Huh? There is no way to get from a BAC of .222 to a BAC of .080 in just four hours. Alcohol metabolizes at an average rate of .016 per hour.lovesthedrive and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.
