What i find disgusting is that it seems he is not doing major jail time. Most likely they will deport him and he will just go get a diffrent ID and/or a diffrent truck and come right back to kill someone else.

    First paragraph of this article:

"On June 9, the FMCSA issued Cecilio Eliut Camacho-Montoya a federal order prohibiting him from operating a commercial vehicle in the Unites States."

    Final paragraph of said article:

"Camacho-Montoya must complete the statutorily required return-to-duty process overseen by a Substance Abuse Professional before he is allowed to return to operating commercial vehicles in the U.S."

Huh, what? Is anyone as confused as I am?

Its a case of the media not having all the facts and trying to spin an exciteing story out of it. In this case my BEST guess is they did not understand how being put out of service works and cludged together a couple diffrent facts and called it a story. I.E driver killed a family, FMSCA revoked license posible for good. However, there is also the "failed a drug test but can do the dot version of A/A and return to duty process" and therefor it must apply to this situation.

    From the article:

"The first test sample showed a breath alcohol content (BrAC) of 0.222; the second, 0.214. Approximately four hours after the crash, at the Ada County Jail, Camacho-Montoya tested at 0.080, with a fourth showing at 0.078. "

Huh? There is no way to get from a BAC of .222 to a BAC of .080 in just four hours. Alcohol metabolizes at an average rate of .016 per hour.
