On Thursday, Love’s Travel Stops opened four new locations in Wyoming, Minnesota, Alabama, and Nebraska, adding 335 truck parking spaces to their network.

The James Town, Wyoming, store amenities include 87 truck parking spaces, a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, 9 diesel bays, 7 showers, laundry facilities, a Speedco, a CAT scale, and a dog park.

The St. Charles, Minnesota location will add 63 truck parking spots to the Love’s network. Other amenities include a Hardee’s restaurant, 8 diesel bays, 6 showers, laundry facilities, a CAT scale, and a dog park.

The Hamilton, Alabama, store will add 87 truck parking spaces to the Love’s network. Other features include an Arby’s restaurant, 8 diesel bays, 7 showers, laundry facilities, a Speedco, a CAT scale, and a dog park.

The new Love’s in Papillion, Nebraska, brings with it 107 truck parking spaces, a Wendy’s restaurant, 8 diesel bays, 7 showers, laundry facilities, a Speedco, a CAT scale, and a dog park.

“Opening four locations in one day is no small feat, but our store and corporate team members stepped up to the challenge,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “We’re excited to join the James Town, St. Charles, Hamilton and Papillion communities and offer professional drivers and four-wheel customers more safe, clean and well-maintained travel stops.”

Love’s has announced plans to open as many as 50 new truck stop locations in 2021, adding 3000 truck parking spaces to their network.

The Love's in Papillion, Nebraska will be full of Werner bobtails. It's right next to their trailer lot on the east side of Hwy 50.

Loves is building a new location right across the street from the Petro in Waterloo, NY.

IMO they should have picked a better location west of there near Buffalo where parking is needed more. That petro always has lots of parking available.

Although Loves always points out the amount of new truck parking in their new stops, I'm sure that providing us parking doesn't have anything to do with where they build.

Good to hear on the new Loves! They are getting close to having a nationwide network with enough locations in all the right places that one can go "Loves Dedicated" if they desire.

I picked up a new CB yesterday on Loves rewards points. I used to have one but hardly ever used it or heard anyone on it so got rid of it. We'll see how it goes. Been silent all morning.

I would bet good money that a truly significant amount of industry research goes into each location selection, regarding lanes, volumes, need, competition, expected growth, etc. I'm sure they already have market research put together on a bunch of sites. It would be interesting to see a typical due diligence and market research package on a potential site. The amount of data of all kinds in there would likely blow your mind.

3 new stores and the sane 3 fast food that already exists. What is it gonna take to get an actual resturant inside a loves ?
