IDK. I drive a 2019 Volvo VNL760. The mattress my company gave me when I got in my truck fits just fine. Kinda a pain to put a twin sized fitted sheet on it. It appears it's a bit wider and shorter than a normal twin. But, with a bit of effort, I get it to fit well enough.
Also, my company gives drivers new mattresses. They have zero expectation that you'll sleep on a mattress that's been used by another driver.
I've had mine almost 2 years and it still seems just fine. It is a smidgen firmer than I prefer, but not enough to cause any significant problems. After almost 2 years, I'm kinda used to the firmer mattress now, but think I'd still prefer a slightly softer one of I had the chance.

 

A firmer mattress is better for your back. The plywood with a mattress on top sounds like a good idea.

 

Forget the mattress, just sleep on the plywood. That’ll be firm!

I bought myself a foam mattress and I love it.

 

Come on, man. Even a coffin has padding.

 

Twin xl I believe it is. It should then fit wall to wall.

 

I just got a Drift Edge mattress they come in two sizes 39x80 basically a Twin Extra Long size that fights in freightliner. Then 42x80 for Kenworth at Peterbilt I guess. The mattress has some foam but has more spring coils. Drivers are supposed to be able to sit on mattress edge without it crushing.

It's kinda expensive but definitely you can sit on edge of mattress without it crushing. It gets it strength from 2 rows of spring coils all around the edge and in middle of mattress. It's a firm mattress so it should not not sink or sag in middle. I tried some of all foam mattress I was not happy. They seem to sag in middle of bed or you sink in the foam and they get hot. So hopefully this Drift mattress will be good. It has some foam.

It's was still expanding in this picture, it has some foam and comes in box rolled up. That's why you see a little sag in the picture. Have to see how it holds up. They claim they tested it for 350lb driver to last 10 years. All mattress company claim really long warranty but we probably never actually get that from them. My last mattress in truck had coils and extra solid foam around the edge to hold up to sitting on edge and it was 8 years old. I have foam mattress at home it's ok, but I don't like how soft edges are on these new all foam mattress are. The foam mattress at home seems to get hot when sleeping. A couple of truck stops sell this one or you can order it online also and get it a little cheaper. I'm not sure what size Volvo mattress is today

 

I buy some of my groceries based on reusability of the packaging. A pound of peanuts or peanut butter pretzels are often sold in cube shape plastic jars with like 6" wide screw-on lid. These jars are great for a variety of uses involving liquid, from brushing teeth in truck, to soaking your favorite shirt after you spill pizza sauce on it until you can get it to a washing machine, to in case you have to poop or vomit in the truck.

I always keep several of these, and the perfect storage place is the gap between the mattress and wall. You should have a few extra blankets for really cold nights, cover the jars with a blanket and now your mattress extends to the wall. No more gap.

Other fillers can include winter jacket storage, those long skinny pillows, or if you stock up on v8 you can stash the extras there too. Or just 100% blankets if you have enough of them.

 

Keep the short mattress, that peice of wood is on some angled risers and lets me open side door and pop my grinder saw and half inch impact.
