All I know for sure is it takes THREE licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Lollipop. I watched a talking owl do it! Therefore, I'm going with three! You get three tickets and you're out of here!

As for me, I don't lick Tootsie Roll Lollipops and I don't have any tickets. Color me CREAM!

I haven't had a ticket in 35 years driving a truck. It's not hard to do. Be a professional instead of a idiot super trucker.

In those 35 years did you get DOT inspected? If so were all those inspections clean? Look back at my comment, I was referring to more than tickets. If you did go through 35 years with no tickets and all your inspections were clean I truly commend you! Because I don't know anybody that can say that!

Both are avoidable by most truck drivers.

I'm a new truck driver trying to learn the craft. I want to keep my record nice and clean. So far, 3 months in, no accidents. I, however, bumped into someone's mirror with my mirror while backing up to a spot.

Nothing happened, not even a scratch. But it could have been a lot worse. I was getting complacent with my mirror check, but that was a wake-up call. Complacency = bad in this industry.

i've gotten 14 different violations in cars since 1999. ranging from speeding to seatbelt. last one in 2015.

since 08 i have 1 "no truck road" ticket pertaining to my class a. nothing else.

several inspections and to be honest i've been pulled over a few times by city/county while in a big truck but never issued a ticket.

1991 was last moving violation. 2010 got tboned at an intersection by a car in my big truck. I had the green light and the cop behind me was a great witness. They were slowing down doing 5 or less coming to the light. I honestly thought the would stop. They just coasted into me lol

Lost my license when I was 19 after I got 6 tickets in 2 months. Got tired of walking pretty fast. Sold my fast car,and got a clunker and that slowed me down. That was in 1970. Got another speeding ticket in 1980, again in 87 and one in 94 that I went to court and got dismissed. Had 2 accidents that were the other guys fault way back in the 70s. Started trucking in 96 and have no tickets or accidents since. I did get three fix it tickets from inspections. Truckee (1996) and Gilroy (2005) scales in Cali and the Limon poe in Colorado in 2010..
