doing a reset and my company is telling me to drive on a bad steer, i'm literally parked infront of a loves tire car right now, dispatcher is telling me i have to get the load back to the yard drop it in 10 hours after reset. And take another one 400 miles and then get it fixed and his messages seem like he's mocking me i told him i'm not moving to its fixed.

What's wrong with the tire? Why's it unsafe?

It has the waves in the tread like you see often in trailer tires

    Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

Are they calling you on the phone, or sending you messages? If they are calling you on the phone, turn off your phone and send them a message indicating you have a bad steer, and will not move until the steer is replaced. Advise them that your phone will stay turned off until the steer is replaced.

A lot of shady dispatchers will try to convince you to do illegal things on the phone, but won't dare set themselves up for failure by telling you to do it in a text that can be documented.

I'd also like to see images of the bad steer, just out of curiosity.

If the tread depth is more than 4/32" in its worst worn spot its still legal.
