Not to far from Kemp's on W Broadway. There was another dairy down by Theodore Worth park too..ewalds maybe.
Used to deliver to Gateway foods on Marshall back in the day.

 

I remember Ewalds ....my buddy at kemps just off work and drove by it and said the block looks pretty nice...the old man man sold that place in about 88 and moved to Fridley as things were headed south in that area .

Lots of houses in that area got tore down and glad to see my dad's wasn't one of them .

 

I checked my trusty old motor carriers atlas and I couldn't find it in there.

I went in a restroom and heard a toilet flush. Suddenly, I remembered where it went.

 

I have had more than a few breaks from the LEO' at the Scales. And then some who didn't. Most State Troopers are good People.I was on a first name relationship with the I C C. Around Chicago and been ticketed in most central states. I would bet there are old drivers, who have been ticketed in all 48.

I do understand why they ban trucks. First, one parks. Then another. Then, the scum of the industry come in, big as hell, smelling like arse, bottlenecks the whole area by parking on the other side of the street, opens his door and kicks his trash out onto the street.

It’s bad enough that there are so many stupid people in trucks, the scum just take things to a whole different level.
