    Geez,how did the wrong way driver end up on the wrong side of the highway? There’s a barrier fence on that stretch of I-40!

    Looks like a bomb went off.

    I've had several head-on situations, a few at night. Fortunately none of them resulted in accidents.

    It's amazing how quickly they happen and can really catch you by surprise. At 60 mph each, in five seconds you've closed three football fields in length. Just a moment's inattention...

    In the pic there is no barrier on that side. On the other side I see some posts sticking up but no barrier. I don't drive 40 much so don't know that area.
