Im pretty sure this is not correct, 2006 is a pretty late model to be running r12 in

All car mfgr switched in 1993, trucks took longer, but 13 years, im having a hard time with that

Which basically means youve mixed 2 completely different refrigerant styles, time to get a full flush and vac and recharge

2000 and older on some trucks, but after that r134 only.

if you are using r12, then you have to have the system taken down, change the drier then flushed, brought down and recharged properly.

R12a is essentially propane, and youve mixed it with an unknown quantity of 134a, while it may work for a while, i question the wisdom of running it when r134a is significantly easier to come by (even though its not cheaper)

its possible if you have a leak now, you (or someone else) had a leak before and used the cans with the sealer in it. If thats the case, im going to guess thats whats messing up your fan switch and god knows what else.

Again, as said before, get a shop to do a full flush vacuum and fill of 134a
