Regularly scheduled sessions of exercise supposedly will aid in reversing muscle loss . Will have to be done consistently to work

Other things you can do as you age:
Yet on vitamins! D3 converts to a hormone, dhea, and if you’re a dude, have your doctor check your hormones! If you got low T you’ll get fat no matter what you do! Lol

getting old isn’t quite what it used to be a couple decades ago. You can keep your body in a physical position between like ages 35 and 50 all the way into your 70s if you wish. And yes, even as a truck driver you can do it.

I do stretch exercises every morning. Simple 5 min routine. With open deck work, it really helps

I’ll be 40 this year. Some kind of trucking since 2002. 8 years of oilfield (only half was ball busting) partied hard 14-29. Eat like crap. My body has been injured more in my sleep than anything I’ve done for work lol. If it wasn’t for the crappy genes I posses I wouldn’t have any issues. That plays a pretty big part. My knees are shot from growing too fast as a youngster. (Yes it can still effect you later) Honestly I’m in dang good shape considering.

Probabaly just jinxed myself and will drop dead tomorrow.

Easy touch trucking was the worst thing to happen to this job.

I drove 643 miles today. It’s now 9:45pm EST where I’m at. I started at 8am this morning. At 2:30pm I took my break, got out of my truck, drink my smoothie and walked 2.2 miles. I then continued on driving for the day. When I stop this evening for my final stop I got out and walked an additional 3 miles. For a total of 5.2 miles today. Which is more than I usually do. But it wasn’t that hard. I didn’t stop at the truckstop I stopped at a state rest area. A nice park like setting. I ate a light dinner.
It can be done folks. We don’t have to let ourselves go out here..
