My Step brother had a job i n the mid 80s. Had to suit up, Must have had oxygen, maybe just a respirator. I can’t remember. But he’d go into the Tankers, and run a mini jackhammer, getting them clean. It was hazardous and hot and grueling. They paid him $28 an hour. Lots of OT. Sometimes send him out of State. Paying him per diem, buying his food, paid hotel. He was making a killing. Twice the best paying Jobs. He was built like Conan the Barbarian. Tough as nails. He liked to drink, and liked to fight. One evening he he stood up to a group of teenagers that were harassing him. That cost him his Life. 25 yrs old. New baby at home. It was Tragic. Never caught the teen that pulled the trigger.

That chemical suit was just another reason it was like "Ah hell no" when I started to go to work for that chemical hauler.

They paid a lot. But it wasn't even really hot then, and it was like wearing a PVC pipe, movement was incredibly difficult.

Wore it twice I think. Then when the old hands started about stays in the hospital and skin grafts, one dude was like 10 weeks in there, I was like "It's a wrap."

I think my older dog’s hearings coming back. Ear drops caused her to go deaf. Be aware of the ear drops possible side effects. Vet never mentioned it. Apparently it’s fairly common. I hope so. Poor girl doesn’t have long left as it is. At this point she gets all the treats she wants. Lol. What a life.

    I
met a Driver in Louisiana. He got a bad chemical burn. His leg, from his to foot. Company was jerking him along, They make good pay, but he’s far from rich.

They changed the menu at Little America in Flagstaff.

A large fries is now like $5, and it's a whole to go tray of fries.

Do not order the large fries. Feeds 3 to 5 truckers or people.
