Regardless of my vax status if you ask me for proof of my PERSONAL and PRIVATE, PROTECTED medical information you'll get a massive "#### you" as an answer.

People need to realize that case numbers don't matter if nobody is dying and not in hospital. Fully open over 2 weeks now and no real change in new cases and hospitalizations are still dropping. Face it, its over. Time to move on.

 

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to realize anything. They got in line to have an experimental substance injected into them for no reason other than they were told to. They are not people I expect great things from in the future...if they have a future.

I don't give a #### what happens in the US. My facts come STRAIGHT from the government website for the area I reside. The fact is hospitalizations have been steadily declining.

 

Most of the antivaxers are poor, uneducated or belong to one of those religious cults. I have to wonder if some of the posters belong to one of those groups. As for the poster who stated that even if you had the vaccine you can still get infected
That msybe partially true as the shots are somewhere around 95 % effective. But not getting a shot because it is not 100% is really bad logic. BTW: 99% of the new caes in the US are in unvaccinated people

Ontario Premier Doug Ford firmly rejected the possibility of implementing vaccine passports on Thursday.

Ford spoke at a news conference announcing a new long-term care home in Toronto, the Runnymede Long-Term Care Home, expected to open in the summer of 2023. The centre is expected to provide 200 new long-term care spaces.

"No, we aren't doing it," he said. "We're not going to have a split society."

As for whether it will be mandatory for health-care workers to get a vaccine, Ford said while they're encouraged to do so, no one should be forced to be immunized.

"I'm not in favour of a mandatory certification and neither, by the way, is the chief medical officer," said Ford. "Folks, just please go get vaccinated."

Fords comments follow similar ones by Solicitor General Sylvia Jones a day before, who shut down the possibility of any sort of proof-of-vaccination system being introduced in the province.

Interesting assertion. I know some who don't fall into any of those categories.

While I'd like everyone to get vaccinated it isn't going to happen.

You can come up with all the stats you want and easily prove that we would be better off collectively if everyone got vaccinated but that doesn't change the fact that there are some who will have bad reactions to the shots. It's up to each of us to make the choice we think is best for us.

 

I'd hate to live life as scared as several posters here. Insane. I'm not against the vaccine, but I ain't getting it.

I'm also not poor, uneducated, or in a religious cult.

I just don't make rash decisions based on others fear or feelings.

Nice projecting there bud. Pro rona vax people have the most cultish behavior out there. You just skip over all the points that were made and you parrot the same lines you heard on TV. If we counted the asymptomatic people (who don't get tested, because guess what, they are asymptomatic), the death rate is way below 1%. As we said more than 3 times in this thread as well, most deaths are people with underlying conditions, really old or extremly obese. Of course there are a few outliers but that happened with the flu as well.

Expecting kids and healthy adults to get a vax that is experimental and non FDA approved (but Trudeau/WHO say it's safe, they never lie) and not knowing the long term effects (clinical trials end in 2024) to save some 90 year old or 400 lbs hambeast that MAY die if catches rona is beyond stupid.

If you can't see that or refute that, you should ask who's really in a cult without an emotional and beyond stupid response, though I'm not expecting much looking at your previous comments.
