I'm just happy that I don't have to use a crappy scrubber at a truck stop, and a good rain for an hour or two tends to clean off most of the dried up dead bugs on the front of the truck and windshield.

When you drink just as heavily on your 10 hr break as you do on your 34

Can you explain to me why you are job shaming someone for working at a mega? Help me understand. So many members do this and I don't get it. What's wrong with working for Knight? I've heard drivers do well there. Hell, @VA CDL Holder has done well there and he made a living. In my opinion, I think he actually liked working for them. To me, that explanation was just a long way of saying, "I do like it, they treated me well, and I made decent money." The comparison of staying in first grade forever, I think is a poor one. Trucking is trucking pretty much no matter where you go. It's all the same. Half these people bash megas and hadn't even worked for some of these companies. I don't know if you did or didn't, but if you did and your experience was bad, ain't no need to shame a company or a driver working there.

I think a stranger aspect of that situation is why he went back multiple times after terminating his employement multiple times.

Aside from seasonal type workers, who has 5 or more separate instances of employment with the same company?

Now they won’t take him back for some nebulous reason. The situation described sounds very strange indeed.

This is an advice forum, and it was less about shaming the poster and more for the benefit of other new drivers not to follow in this guys footsteps.

People that know the least, like to parrot others. It makes them feel better about their own pathetic lives. "Other people bash Megas, so I will too. Maybe it will make me look good."
