Hey brother - did you ever find a federal website with your official miles count? I didn't know if one existed or not either. Was curious how far you got...I love how the people who don't know just run their mouths instead of saying... "Nope...I don't know". LMAO

I have all my tax records. This is not an exact science, but I am sure my total is within 50K of the exact amount of miles.

Just don't add up the money you made and then divide it by all the hours you worked... :(

There is no such thing. Hiring companies don’t verify miles. They just verify employment. If you say you worked at ABC Trucking for 2 years, then they’ll contact that company for verification. Or, if you have pay statements for that period, they’ll accept that. They just want to make sure you have the experience you claim you have.

All that?? I write down the information on every load assignment. Including miles driven each day, what time I started, what time I stopped, where I parked for my 10 hour break, when and where I fueled, Loaded and MT miles paid, total hub miles on each load. I don't think it totals 5-10 minutes of my time each day! I can tell you my average mph on the Drive Line each week vs mph for total On Duty time. I can also tell you what time I arrived at the shipper/consignee, when I bumped the dock, and when I sent my loaded/empty call. You apparently just fly by the seat of your pants! Lol

I know several drivers (mostly OOs) that use a preformatted spreadsheet. Have been for years. There is a website where you can download the excel template. Honestly, I have no idea where it is.
