    If you're on a FS fire it's 25 an hour, time and a half after 8. Double time after 12 but since we hot seat the trucks there isn't much double time.
    CalFire is a little more but not enough to notice. I try to stay on the FS fires but I'm on the list for CalFire, too.
    Are you carded?

    No problem. I've got drivers on all the trucks now but this time of the year things can change fast. Some of our retirees are working but they're not kids anymore and I like to cut them a little slack when I can. Just don't want to be too obvious about it.
    Enjoy your retirement. After this season and maybe the next I'll be joining you.
