Glad hand seals sticking together.

    New gladhand seals are lightly coated in some sort of talcum powder. Corn starch might also work.

    If your company deals with sending your trailer across the border to Mexico, you should carry an ample supply of glad hand seals.

    I use regular grease on my glad hand rubbers. There is usually some grease on my Trailer flange, so I rub some on my rubbers and also put some in my light cord socket. Works well for me.

    Well, I tried @rbrtwbstr ’s suggestion of putting the seals in backwards this morning. That did help the connections not leak, but as of this afternoon it didn’t solve the sticking problem.

    It looks like I’ll need a plan “B”, so tomorrow I’ll try a dab of fresh fifth wheel grease on the mating surfaces.
