Go dry van. Container port is lowest of the low. Find a good small company that has 20-50 trucks. You don't have to be a pier rat to be home daily

Your already positioned in a decent lane to base your operation from. If I were you running that area I'd do overnight runs just spending a night in the truck, 500-650 miles one way, reload and come back home.

We're home daily but we live in the northeast ~180 miles from NYC, Philly, and all of Jersey. That area is about the best for being home daily, yours not so much. Being home every other day though is more than doable for your location

No. No containers. The money just isn't there. Look at the trucks running cans, not too many nice ones. And the guys that are making money pulling cans are part of the good ole boy club and you ain't in it. The rates in that segment have been stagnant for going on 3 decades

At least they tell you up front how hard they're gonna ram it up your ### w/o any KY LOL

"Owner Operators driving for the company have the potential to earn $1,675 per week on average."

"For example, one owner-operator was driving four days per week earning around $1,800 for the week. The driver was delivering for Honda and mentions the pay being:"

    • Atlanta to Tennessee – $422
    • Atlanta to Knoxville – $700
Bonus points for honesty at leasto_O
