    I did get the brushes, and a thread chaser. Clean threads makes that centering pin go on easier.

    Where I sometimes have a little trouble is if the wheel gets a little ####ed due to one side being tightened ahead of the other, by just a small amount. Then it tends to bind on the pin.

    Other than that I think we do it the same way.

    Yeah I just snug them up good and then pull the pins. Sounds like things are binding on you.

    Another visual check you can do is to look at the bead seat of your tires, if they are not seated properly the bead line will not be evenly spaced from the rim. A bead seated unevenly will cause a "minor" hop on one side of that tire.
