Thumbing through their dedicated tabs out of the Wilmer yard, there was nothing paying .61 cpm. It’s all .53 to .58 cpm which is average at best. You’re not coming home weekly without a penalty even if it is for a quick 34 hour stop through.

I was only getting .54 on the Walmart account I was on but that still lead to $75k gross and 60k net for a whole year.
If the account has the miles, you can still keep up with the national guys plus know the general area you will be pu/del too.
Also a side note, you do not have to live anywhere in the area to do the dedicated accounts. I live down in San Antonio,TX but my dedicated was up in Minnesota. They will simply get you a national run to run you home but you will have to run the dedicated like a regional and be home every 2 weeks instead of weekly.Farmerbob1 and Winnyf1 Thank this. -

Let's just say, I never knew the company would pull the old bait-n-switch, but they either did just that, or they're getting more incompetent the busier we get. They tried to put me on a Neosho to Carthage load last night, but my hours wouldn't let me deliver it on time, so they took me off of it and planned me on a load later on after I was asleep going from the middle of nowhere AR up to Pottsville PA...but it live loaded at midnite tonite. Which was fine because it didn't have to drop in PA until Saturday. But I wanted to get to my delivery this morning before I accepted it so I could figure a good PTA (like that matters, they appearantly don't look at PTA's anymore anyway). Just before I get to the exit to deliver, they unplan me. So, I stop at the peelot, take a shower, eat breakfast, then deliver. I send my DM 3 options, since I only had just under 5 on my 70 I could head for my next load (if it was close enough, pu the load), wait until morning and head for a load, or sit and do a 34. 30 minutes later he tells me to accept the load and head for the shipper...but no new load appeared. So, I wait...and wait...and wait. Finally I ask, was I supposed to accept the unplanned load from this morning or are they gonna send me a new one sometime today? He told me they sent me a new one...never hit the truck. A few minutes later, the same preplan from Neosho to Carthage appears. I tell him that we'll have to reschedule both the pu and delivery appointments because I can't make either one...and accept the load...2 minutes later they unplan me on it again and just send me the load info for a load I had never saw, or accepted...I went off telling the whole op's team to get their #### together (actually, it was what the flying fornication is wrong with you people, get your #### together and make and stick to the plan you send)...he said to calm down...we'll get thru this...this is calm...he hasn't seen me pissed yet, but I swear, this has become the most disfunctional confused group of people I have ever worked for.. they have shot up to #1 on the "worst company I've ever worked for" list...these people would screw up a wet dream.

If he’s cussing the DM’s like he says the next poopfest report on the new carrier will be here soon. Schaffer will starve him out tell he quits.
Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -

I don’t really think it matters what carrier he goes to… He could go to one of the premium companies in all the country or it could be another crappy company… The same thing is going to occur.
