Hahaha do what u gotta do . looked like some of those mulch i pulled in the spring. Shrink wrap comes apart on front pallet and have to throw 4 or 5 straps on it just to keep it together

Have u guys never had something come apart on your trailer? Metal banding or something similar. I bet those onions loads move around alot . looks like he did the best he can with what hes got to work with. May just be better to undo straps and tarps and rebuild the pallet if alot of miles left

    i won’t knock his securement.

I would question his driving habits though.

It could be nothing to do with driving tho. Ive had pallets of mulch do that to me. Throw securement so it doesnt fall all the way over

Might be a dumb idea but what if one measured the height and width of the front of those onion pallets and had Home Depot cut a piece of plywood that size then X wrap the front end?

On the contrary it could have a lot to do with the way he drives and how hard he brakes. If it was just the front pallet I’d give him the benefit of the doubt, but seeing them all leaning to the passenger side I lost a lot of faith. Plus it’s Prime.

Just trying to give him the benefit of doubt ... ive heard horror stories about onion loads. Im not sure they would be the easiest of loads to haul. It almost seems impossible to keep them from moving around

Wouldnt be to hard to undo securement and restack the pallet and start over.

You’re right, one or two pallets wouldn’t be bad. But the whole load shifted forward, no. Don’t know if it was X strapped before or after the load shift.

Oh come on, restacking 48k pounds of onions on a hot summer day sounds like a walk in the park :biggrin_25523:
