1 What happens when a 63-year-old with epilepsy and shaking hands tries to replace an iPhone battery?

    2. What happens when a 63-year-old asks a teenager to replace the battery on an iphone?

    3. Just a photo off the internet?

Don't have an Iphone. I have an old style "Star Trek" flip phone, when the battery failed on the old one, the phone company BEGGED ME to get a smartphone. ( we can't track you as well with a flip phone) Since the old phone was 3G and obsolete, I was able to get another flip phone, only 4G, oh boy,,,what a ripoff, I don't get any better reception than the old one. We are so bamboozled and dependent on this stuff, we simply can't live without them, and that, my friends, should scare the hell out of you.

True, pros and cons to anything new and improved… but I can’t imagine life without my tech.

Well, the answer is 1. There is a 17-year-old near me that told me he could change that battery. That A1660 was a good phone and I should have used better wisdom and let a qualified tech do that work. I honestly don't quite know what I did wrong. I was attempting to pull the adhesive from below the battery and "poof" it's on fire! Knocked a bit of skin off my finger too!

    What's wrong with that?
That phone isn't going to mess with you again. When you get a new phone, just show it what happened to the last one that tried to slack off.

3G to 4G was mostly an improvement in data speeds. You wouldn't notice a difference in reception.
