"On the other hand, if that thing is dead all of a sudden, I think, I'll be all right regrouping for 6 months up to a year...I need a physical and mental overhaul too. LOL"

Seriously, I would not mind to apply for a job at the local Lowes which is 10 minutes walk form my house and do 9 am-5 pm 5 days a week.
I don't know what they would pay me there...but I do fantasize about doing something ultra simple and insignificant but very local and stationary.
Heck, maybe a job at the local library....but as who? I can't be a good janitor...lol

Wow, you are getting up there. The oil use wouldn't phase me but the coolant loss would. I definitely see what you mean about being very careful at this point.

I don't think I could be happy doing anything else (than trucking) at this point. I've always thought I'll try something new if something takes me out of trucking (health, wreck, family). Also, I've just thought when I get tired of it I'll still do it but do it less. Most of us could take a 3 day trip per week and still beat a local job (like Lowe's I mean). Less fuel, less tax burden, longer equipment life due to less miles, less stress, less burnout.

That local job would serve as a sanatorium after the burnout feeling lol. I'd just quit as soon as things would be put together and I'd miss the road. Of course, I would be dishonest about it during the job interview...lol
The coolant consumption is small but discernable...I don't see it in the oil, on the ground nor in a white smoke...must be burning out but minimally.
By the end of the year or even much earlier I'll make a decision of what to do with it. I've never been a big fan of overhauls, it is a lottery of sorts. On the other hand, with another or a new truck, the prospect of losing the comfort of no monthly payments is a little gloomy.

Do you sample your oil? That may be able to help figure out your coolant issue.

And based on what I’ve heard about the only way for you to get a truck this year would be to have a dealer call you if someone backs out on their order.

I have a gang of reefers running nowadays and don’t haul any food. It’s not all about food with reefers.

The only 2 grocery warehouses I've had good luck at is wakefern (shop rite) and wegmans. In and out in under 2 hours. But it was all 1 product tho that's why and no lumper either. Lots of places it's on account now

Buzzottos and Hannaford Bros can piss off
