I've been to the Leonard's cross dock facility picking up Chiquita at 2 different locations in Wilmington, but never Del Monte. I have loaded Del Monte out of Jersey...a place I would rather never go to again. So if the Wilmington location is anything like Jersey, have fun.

Oh great...got a message from Peoplenet this morning...another update. Something about being able to change status once a minute. I wonder what is gonna be ####ed up now. Peoplenet is like Android, they change one thing, and two other things quit working right. I wish they'd leave well enough alone. I wondered why my Fleet screen app kept closing and requesting to be restarted...and, while sitting at Kroger this morning, my little red triangle reappeared again.

I warned my A/M that my load hasn't been preloaded like it showed, and said it will have a negative effect on my PTA, and would update it once loaded. He acknowledged my message. Then, an hour later, I was sent a load that has to be picked up very close to the outside time of the delivery window for this load...in a different cave complex that reviewers say wasn't designed for 53' trailers....plus, it's another one of those 'must drive 200 miles before stopping' loads...which given the delay I am having on this load, won't be possible.

And #2 sent me an update on my idle time...I am 2x + over the fleet average...(I think that's all it said...after I saw how it started, I deleted it...gotta save memory space on the Peoplenet)

Yeah, Gloucester City, NJ. You check in on one side of the street, then when they are ready to load you, you go across the street and zig-zag thru the port's warehouses, then zig-zag thru other warehouses to get out....they only needed 2 loadlocks, and you had to be inside when they were loading...and had to be the one who put the temperature tattle-tale on the middle stack somewhere.
