Well, the beer flu is closing in on casa de snackbar. Last week my wife told me my one niece had tested positive, and is now fighting pneumonia. My niece's husband went from not sick to dead from it in less than a week (both had underlying health issues), their adult son went to the hospital, and tested positive, but not a serious case, so he is under quarantine. Now, my daughter's 2 youngest kids both had to come home from school early last week, one had a 101° fever, the other had a 99°. The one with the 99° fever has already broke his fever, and the other is improving...but both tested positive. And these are kids my wife gets off the school bus every day...so we don't know how contagious either one was when they were with my wife. So, now she has to be tested because she deals with the public at her farmers market every week. And several of her regular vendors at the market are out after testing positive. Plus both of my son's kids go to the same public petri dish as the two grandkids that tested positive.(different grades and they don't ride the bus), and his youngest came home early 2 days ago with a fever. Now the most concerning part,(all the kids are improving enough to be cautiously optimistic, but somewhat concerned).. I am due home next week, and my wife's sister and her husband are coming down on vacation next weekend...but both of them are vaccine lab rats because one is a TSA agent and the other works at a DMV office (they're the popular one's in my wife's family )

Whenever I keep running into the same problem over and over again, I look at my own role in the problem. I see what I can do to avoid getting into the same problem next time.

He’s too busy pissing and moaning about the most minuscule things to ever even vaguely contemplate that perhaps he’s the problem. This is how it works with him.
1. Hires on and it’s the best gig ever; nothing like the last dump that couldn’t do anything right. This goes on for a few months.
2. Suddenly, there’s some nothing issue that prevents him from achieving his 10,000 miles this month. That’s the beginning of the end for him.
3. Then he gets about 6 months to a year into the gig (he’s been here about 9 months IIRC) and figures out that the wonderful new gig is the same as the last and the one before that and the one before that.
4. Wash, rinse, repeat
My advice is to subscribe and read (his insanity is great fodder). But, don’t waste your breath with advice. You couldn’t possibly know more than super trucker and his “no b.s. attitude” that gets him fired or mad enough to quit every 6 months to a year.074344, Gearjammin' Penguin, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -
