Muck Boots 'n' Slickers - Life of a Livestock Hauler

I haul quite a few loads in the Spring of the year....... I think it's Muslim religious events of some sort?

Anyway, they either load , or they don't. Unload, or they don't.

It's either the easiest loads you'll ever haul or the hardest.

On the plus side, cleaning the trailer afterwards is fast and simple. And, they don't bust up my trailer like my load of Fats did a few days ago. Talk about uncivilized.....

BTW.....Thanks @Cattleman84 for the thread. I'm not much of a gum flapper, but I do enjoy the reading. Settin' in the shadows is how I best participate. But that don't mean I ain't got one eye on all you reprobates! Lol!

I put a couple sheep in the jail one time with a pissed off billy goat. The sheep I had to hog tie and carry up the ramp. They was perty freaked out about it

First time I seen this kid a year ago I thought he didn’t know how to speak......it was obvious he couldn’t back, shift or load. The guy he was working for is a total class a screw up. For what ever reason I took to him. Figured out he wasn’t dumb, just needed guidance had a desire to learn. I also seen he had the will to stay with you and get the job done. I can’t say enough how proud of this young man I am. He has moved on to a much better employer and made a hand. He has also as you can see come out of his shell. It’s amazing what a guy will do at Joplin on just a dare lmfao. You can’t say cow haulers don’t have fun

 

I like hearing stories like that .. I'am glad you are helping him along... I like seeing s### like that too.. them are the guys that make it fun to run with at 3 am .. you know some day down the road he will be showing & telling some new guy how to roll like a pro too !!!
