Tips and helpful information for new truck drivers.

Don’t ever bang on the door of my Truck. If you want to talk, don’t climb up on the step, using my mirror as a grab handle. Don’t get Indoctrinated by a Mega. Serve your time if needed, and move on. And don’t listen or other Truckdrivers. They’re all full of BS. That includes myself.

 

The Lord loves a working man.

Don't trust whitey.

See a doctor and get it taken care of.

 

When someone is in the stall next to me having a phone conversation, i just start flushing the toilet repeatedly .

 

If ur a flatbedder, and u come to ur delivery place and theres a truck or two in front of u waiting to unload . Go help the guy roll straps and fold tarps , put away equipment.. Its not only a nice gesture, but everybody gets out of there faster....

If at a coil warehouse , dont block the frickin loading bay, throw 2 chains and take that #### outside so the rest of us can get loaded . (Tmc im looking at you).

If you see a driver wrenching on something , go offer a helping hand . Never know what u may be able to learn from another drivers equipment problems.

 

When going down a steep grade,put all your plans and schedules on hold until you get to the bottom.

 

Never eat yellow snow... and, no matter how dumb the dealer looks, always cut the cards.

 

Except when it’s an absolute cloudburst and you’re slowing down because visibility is down to fifty feet.

 

Keep an eye out for double bacon cheeseburgers, especially when they are on sale.

 

I doubt that applies to most truckers now. Doesn't their religion prohibit pork?

 

If your a short person like me the visors do nothing. I tape a cardboard flap to the visor extending it. Pro tip Lol
