Hey all,
I want to know the real reason why you all are willing to pay for parking instead of park illegally or for free on other sites.
Thank you

The real question we should be asking is why people are parking for free in the paid parking spots and the truck stop does nothing about it, even when the paid parking is full and prepaid reservations show up.

I almost never pay for parking, but once in a while I will reserve a space at a Pilot/Flying J if I’m going somewhere that I don’t know very well or if I’m not going to reach a good stopping point for my next day’s delivery until later. I use points, so it doesn’t feel like I’m actually spending money, but I’d gladly pay if I had to. It’s totally worth avoiding the hassle!

$18 for a parking spot is better than a 3am wakeup and dealing with potentially being towed.

Im willing to pay only in select areas where the rate essentially has that built in.
Middle of nowhere iowa, 12$ parking in a crappy pothole filled lot, go f yourself.
Nj/ct, might be worth 40$ for a spot
No apps that ive seen make it reasonable to use the app
most parking is overpriced, its curious (read: infuriatingly close to looking like price fixing) that each truckstop just magically settles on the exact same price regardless of quality of store/ameneties and other parking availability nearby (location)BigTizle, gentleroger and Harry Flashman Thank this. -
I'd rather not pay it given a choice, but sometimes there isn't one. If I have to get a certain distance and looks like I'll be stopping late in a certain area, I'll pay. Or unload/load goes late, and low on hrs.
BigTizle Thanks this. -
