    They're making a new Lightning?!?

With the current horsepower on the streets, I can't imagine what monster they'll stuff under the hood. A supercharged version of that 7.3 Godzilla engine.

It’s a greenie weenie electric, 7F43851F-3AAE-4983-B086-D1125C6A8370.png but if it is any thing like my wife’s Tesla it aint skeert of any high horsepower internal combustion motor. I never thought I would want an electric vehicle, but I probably will get one next. I am still not getting rid of my “Dirty Motor” Glider until I am done truckin.

There are to many videos online of guys in 700hp cars getting spanked by electrics. Never thought I’d see the day..

    It's true.

But I've never heard an electric motor lope.

Saw someone mention that Lohrs like the truck in the middle of the bottom deck. So what the heck, I'll try it!

Any idea why they like it? On the older models that was a tough spot to get out the door.

The middle is only a couple holes higher than it would be if I put a pick up and an SUV in front of the tandems. Loading with the pickup in the middle, lets me drop the ends much lower.

I just loaded another one the exact same way oh, only with half tons. I meant to back the nose pick up on, and this load would have been below 14 foot on the trailer. 20210908_133500.jpg

The first was ~83k, the 2nd was barely legal, and only because I was low on fuel.

They actually balance really nice this way, too.

When you enlarge that photo on a 23" monitor, the red deck of the truck parked beside you will throw you for a loop. ;)
