You typically have 2 copies of the BOL. For HazMat a copy must remain in the truck when truck is unoccupied. Leave one copy in the seat or door pouch and take one inside.

Sam Adams made some kinda cherry-flavored beer in the late 90's. Neighbor handed me a bottle, I saw "Sam Adams" on the label, thought I knew what to expect.... Did a classic spit-take right into his kitchen sink.

When you haul Hazmat you're never empty, unless it's a brand spanking new trailer.

I only did dry van for a month when I started so most of the stuff I say applies to tankers.

Me too. Some brands i notice more than others but bud bottles taste a lot better in glass than cans

New Glarus has a cherry beer that's absolutely delicious - provided that's what you're expecting. I've got no problem with brewers following the market. The market may not be what I like, but I like bagpipe rock so what do I know? My problem is not being able to quickly and easily decipher what's in the can. I bought what I thought was an imperial stout, which it technically is, but infused with fruit. I get that cans are cheaper for the brewers, better for the environment, and dramatically increase shelf life. I just want to be able to quickly identify what the heck I'm drinking.

Just like DOT wants to be able to quickly identify what hazmat is on a trailer.

Yup what @FFL Trucker said. Only time its empty empty is when its new. Now there are empty clean trailers but even then you have to have a copy of the washout ticket and that states what it hauled last, and how it was cleaned out.

Bagpipe rock? I like the sound of that, although I've never heard of it before. Would you mind pointing me to a few good artists?
