So, after I loaded this load, I called to get an unload appointment. none available for next day, And none for the day after....wtf? I said fine, going to take it off if I can't get it unloaded.....what's the point. She said be there at 0700 today and she would get me in. So I parked at the J in Cheyenne yesterday about 1300. Woke up at 0300 and on the road at 0315 because Denver traffic sucks. I get here at 0600, because I was trying to beat traffic and thought I could get here and untarp. Well, I get here and the guy yells at me. He said they have too much traffic in here for me to sit. Can't untarp yet and they don't start until 0730. Said the gal on the phone is a moron and proceeded to cuss me. So I said I would be in the truck until he was ready and walked away. Sometimes I really hate this job.

I did an Alex Jones style write up about turning the Braindeads into zombies. All they have to do is to come up with the right virus. COVID turned the Braindeads into toilet paper hoarders.

One the other hand, the Far Right is flexing, stretching and warming up like an athlete. That’s a bit more concerning….

Agreed. That is one of the reasons we decided to stay where we are instead of move. The political climate is so uncertain these days. So we are going to wait it out. See what happens with taxes, mandates, migration and war. I don't trust the the goings on these days, best to get your house in order as much as possible. Definitely uncertain times ahead.

Well, after all that....I've literally been the only truck here since I got here. I'm now unloaded and about to leave......still...the only truck here. Yeah, they are real swamped let me tell Yeah. Now I see why I couldn't get unloaded yesterday. Gees, what a waste.

Well, I guess this is how my week is going to go. Got over to load north of Denver. They tell me the last load was shipped out yesterday. So, called the broker and broker called customer. Now getting truck ordered not used. However, now I need to get a new load and there are pretty slim pickens.

If you were running reefer. It'd be easy. Just bounce over to the meat patch.

Normally it isn't this hard. But I need to be home tomorrow because I have things to tend to. so trying to get something the last minute going where I need to go in the timeline I need is difficult.
