That's cool as hell. Sent that vid to my dad. My dad knows that company AJ Ross very good. Before the company he was leased to signed up to the union they dropped off all the steel in AJ's yard and they did the final mile into the city. Small world Lol

Very cool! I’m sure he’ll appreciate that and probably had seen that truck back in the good ole’ days. I always feel like I was born 30 or 40 years to late. New stuff just doesn’t thrill me like the old iron. And in the 70’s when I rode with my Dad I don’t ever remember hearing the B.S. at the truck stops like you do now and there certainly were no sweat pants, sandals and man buns!! Maybe I was to young to remember and maybe mistaken but I don’t think so.

Drove a few trucks with Detroit’s over the years. The Louisville Ford with the 8V71 and twin sticks was one of my better memories, you could grab gears by the baskets full about all day long lol.....

I think they and one other farm are the only ones to use em around here. It's all green or red here.

They are some fast cutting machines.

One beat a bigger jd x9 in November last year for bushels of corn harvested in an 8 hour period. Averaged 7,240.85 bushel per hour, 57,926 bushels total.

CLASS LEXION Record | Combines | CLAAS of America | CLAAS

These are averaging about 15 acres an hour but they are having to wait on trucks to get back from the dryer.

Yup, end of a long week, next week's booked solid. Not complaining, I appreciate the work, along with being a true independent O/O running old iron...

When I was a kid back in the 60's, I used to lay in bed at night in the summer and listen to the Jimmy's dropping gears on the nearby interstate. Even then, I knew what I wanted to do. Close my eyes and I can still hear 'em. Thanks for sharing that!
