If I could take the last 5 days back I would, what a cluster####. Brain damage sets in and blow 100 pounds of barley out the ### of the trailer all over the place at a new customer. Get pulled over, get a level 1 on the side of the road, get behind schedule, get my ### chewed, get written up (rightfully so), get yelled at by big brother camera, get told bring load back and redeliver, get this, get that, ruin 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of brand new work boots, blah blah blah..... there was other #### too, I just can't remember what the hell any of it was at the moment.

Between the things that didn't go as planned and the things I just outright screwed the pooch on I think the only thing I did right was lock the truck this afternoon and head for the house. The worst span of mistakes I've had since I started driving. Hopefully I will still have a job in a week....

@bzinger I'm pretty sure from our conversations this is both of us!

Also, I have to vote for this as the stupidest thing I've seen at a grocery store in a while. No, the items on the pictures/ads were NOT what was behind those particular cooler doors, so opening door, standing there with cold air escaping while you looked thru shelves then closing door and opening next one down to repeat process was what everyone was doing.

Otherwise I have nothing new to report. we have to many loads, to few drivers, trailers that aren't ready until after you are suppose to deliver them, or aren't where they are suppose to be when they are suppose to be there at all. All on top of trying to adjust to a new dispatcher.

    Oh, the joy....

I joking told mine the other day that when I kill her I would drag her across the river into iowa to do it because unlike Nebraska iowa doesent have a death penalty.

Greetings from South Carolina, where the temperature is HOT, and the tire is FLAT. Neither one of those I am particularly found of. :(

Small update... Was at the bottom of a stairway on the 31st of last month. Step-father coming down behind me took a header and the end result was I was the his landing cushion and ended up with right leg broken in 3 places. Was told will be approx 3 months before back at work.

It wasn't work related, so in theory they don't have any skin in the game other than being down a driver at a time when we are already short, but still could be dicks in a lot of ways if they so chose to be I guess. So far haven't had had any issues with the company about anything. Everyone has been nice and HR has been helpful, No complaints about how I am being treated at all on that front.

Not to bad 3 weeks in now. I've had to let dispatch now twice now that I'm a m-f driver. They keep trying to run me thru the weekend. So I've gotten loud with her 2x now, and been home on the weekends lol. Pay is definitely there.
I guess we're still feeling each other out.

Sorry to here about the leg, you got short term disability?
