I worked for daily express as a owner operator.
After a number of complaints and refused unsafe trailer. I filed a fmcsa report of fraud, unsafe equipment and termination .
I was fired because of my safty concerns and my complaints.
A whistle-blower case had been started.
The more we speak up the more powerful we are in shutting down unsafe carrier. Safty affects everyone.
If you feel you gave information or like too be part of this case please contact me.

It's been a long, long time since I was leased there but I'm kinda' surprised at the safety issues.
Whenever I went through Carlisle the trailer went through inspection and any safety issues were addressed.
The shop guys were a bunch of good dudes.
That being said, appearance of the trailers was rarely a concern. Peeling paint, rust bubbles, ect.

I had filed my inspection report with my ELD email of concern of problems.
The Hub on trailer had fallen off after 3 if the Company Technician inspect it for problems.
Lots of improper repairs and fraud.

Also, they installed new brake pads, but refuse too repair or replace the worn out S-cam bushings or put new drums on. AbS lights not wired correctly. Infact it was cut so it wouldn't come on. Brakes not even hooked up too air .

Those fatigue cracks in those rusted welds don’t exactly give confidence either.

Are brand new trailers have the ABS trailer light on back & front of trailer. Since day 1 the rear light would stay on but the front one would go out & no cab warning either. I get about $850 a month in safety bonuses so I told them to fix before I would hook to it & they did the same thing.

What do you mean they did the same thing. If you can explain more that be great.
The ABS light is a common ticket for DOT and its a door way for a fishing Expedition.
A lot of Technician I noticed are cutting the wires. Because they refuse or the lack the ability too understand how the ABS functions.

Usually it’s the drivers that are cutting the ABS wires just so they can go pickup a load.SMH

Yes, seems like a lot if wrongful action in transportation.
It's reason why we are over regulated by the government. A lot of people in transportation need too be in prison or terminated from transportation.
