It appears I’ve lost a light on the front top corner of my trailer. Never fails in Florida. Must have been those trees I skimmed under last night. Cheap plastic brackets don’t last long. They’ve got about 8 different corner radius brackets. I bought the last one in stock last time. Like to have a spare or two. Need to buy or make some aluminum brackets. Enough of the plastic crap. Biggest problem is finding a Ladder, or a Tanker to climb up and fix the light. I ain’t got no time for dat!

A couple of months ago I could barely move most days. Now I am putting up numbers like these 2-4x a week Screenshot_20210913-202107_Samsung Health.jpg

Sum it up as "Access to food". Truck stops food is poorly managed/delivered fast food, restaurants like Olive garden, TX Roadhouse, Appleby's, Red lobster, etc, are either buried up in a mall or if visible, no where to park and stroll over.
Oh for the days like the stops near the Deep Rock Station, Clear Lake, IA, Art and Dots, Horse Cave KY, Stan's at Spring Hill, TN. Jack's at Columbus, MS, Lilly's (the log cabin on US78 at AL/GA line) Betty's in Athens, GA, Saluda River TS near Anderson SC, Midway TS, (across from the Kings mountain Natl cemetery near Gastonia). Midway had an arrow across the front, big foot high letters: One end pointed south and said Miami, XXXX miles. other end pointed north said New York, XXXX miles. Was in 1955-56 so actual number have faded, memory too.
Those places hired local housewives, had kitchens, and the food was selected and cooked., not defrost and reheat.
Used to laugh and define location by porkchop thickness. Load Lakeland, FL, breakfast type, small, thin. Going thru Clear Lake, they were 3/4" thick and big palm sized.

Or a tracked taco truck to run on the soft shoulder, alongside captive customers.
