Well, except that it was suppose to be a drop/hook, but ended up live loading. (We had empty trailers available). I got there around 90 min early, but didn't get to a door until after my scheduled ready time and the it was almost 7 pm when I got out. All told, it wasn't as bad as I have had at other cold storage locations, but I was hoping for a quick drop/hook and book. But at least I got to keep an air ride trailer for one more day.

Found my first bad warehouse. 7am appointment, got in at 6am. Didn't even start loading me till 4pm...from the reviews this is normal for this place.

reminds me of Lopez foods in Oklahoma City. Had a 12pm appt and didn’t get a call for a door until 12am and wasn’t empty until 4am.

They get mad if we arrive late to appointments, but they seem to not care if they start loading/unloading past the appointment.

Kind of miss doing tanker cause only time they couldn't load/unload me was if the product wasn't ready or tank was to full.

I'm sure as time goes on I'll end up at more of said places. At least on Walmart dedicated, I could always break into a store to get then to unload me.

Well, I am off the Richmond load. Someone (other than my A/M) called and asked if I minded giving it up to another driver to get home. In return I got his load. To run it from start to end would have been a sweet run. Picked up in Camarillo, CA, and it delivers in Westbrook, ME. And it weighs a whopping 3500 lbs. I am picking it up at the Columbus yard.

But you are still there? Makes no sense to me? Why would you put up with that?

I asked in the Magnum thread but I'll ask here too. Magnum has already had a 3k sign on bonus for company drivers for a while. I've never gotten a sign on bonus in trucking before but I would have thought that ex-Magnum drivers would have ALREADY been eligible for that 3k sign on bonus, right?

So is this 1k and 3k sign on bonus on top of the (already there) 3k company sign on bonus? Or do sign on bonuses in the trucking world usually not include ex-company drivers?
