Can't tell you how many times I've experienced guys who just won't move their ####### over when me or someone else is stuck on the shoulder 4 wheelers included.
Everybody gotta stay ahead #### sure can't slowdown to get over or let someone merge that might cost you 1/1000th of a mile on their trip.drvrtech77, austinmike, bryan21384 and 2 others Thank this. -
Good grief, more distracted drivers. If they were paying attention to the road, they would have slowed and moved over. Unless they really should not have the license.
drvrtech77, bryan21384, Mototom and 2 others Thank this. -
Not in this case but i will add folks on the shoulder need to also be mindful and never turn back towards traffic, ever......and take the stupid ear buds out when on the shoulder, so you hear what's coming to possibly run you over....thats just my .02 ....
allniter, austinmike, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this. -
What I can’t understand is those that pull over and park it the second their tire is flat. For crying out load, limp it off the bridge, limp it to the rest area 1/2 mile in front of you, get to that off ramp you see in the distance. It ain’t gonna hurt that rim, if you go 2-3 mph till you are safe.

If you're paying attention a vehicle on the shoulder should not cause you any issues.bryan21384 Thanks this. -
Trucker61016 and bryan21384 Thank this.

They can limp it on the shoulder to safety, people barely have it off the travel lane.
Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
Ummmm
No one is going to comment on THIS?
"Georgia DPS says that Trooper First Class (TFC) Wright was “working in an off-duty capacity” when the vehicle was struck from the rear by a tractor trailer that failed to move over."
So yeah whatever, we're supposed to be professional drivers and part of that means not hitting stationary objects, meh, whatever
But ga dot cop is allowed to be in a city on the interstate parked on a shoulder next to a guard rail AND off duty? But also considered "working"
And we cant park on wide open on-ramps to get a nap 8 feet from travel lanes, and if struck by someone that cant be bothered to not strike a stationary object, its OUR FAULT?
double standard much?allniter, D.Tibbitt, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this. -
