Sitting at home, wondering why I haven't been back on this forum since 2016. o_O :)
    1. Computer blew up and got replaced and lost sign on info.
    2. Had umbilical hernia operation after returning to work after wife got new knee and had to put dog to sleep.
    3. Came home because lost my parking spot at former employer, so had no where to park rig for doctor appts. so had to quit then employer
    4. Had to have water line replaced, delayed because of China Wuhan Virus
    5. Blood pressure and weight went up, Doc tripled med, and sent me into Gout attack that crippled me 3 times over the spring/summer
    6. Just now getting back to normal and looking to get back to work and found the site again while searching for job ops.
    7. Here I am...after, remembering (somehow) my password and signing on and then changing it. (something a bit more secure this time. )

    What did I miss? :D

Good news. Just didn't expect to wake up and find my wife house shopping with extreme intent. She showed me a property she really liked, I liked it too so we went and did a drive by of the place.

Have an appointment with our real estate agent (guy we used to get the house we have now) to go do a tour tomorrow morning.

We both came to the conclusion a month or two ago that we're sick of living in city limits. I grew up out in the country and have never liked city living, only done it out of necessity. She's finally hit the point where she wants some space, peace, and quiet.

Yeah, that's way bigger than ours get.
Just over the border from us a trooper hit a 700lbs black bear with his cruiser! They have protein there. Here they just eat berry's and grass, so they stay small.

Doubt I’ll be through here again anytime soon — Nevada Missouri at Sharkys.

Place has some wicked good food for this poor slob of a truck driver. Bar is packed but we got a high top. Deliver in Omaha tomorrow… I’ve been told they’re having a funeral procession for one of the fallen marines in Afghanistan. Doubt the Joe Genius will make an appearance but I’ve been told to be out of dodge by 0930 or I’m screwed.

Indeed it is. One of the reasons we'd only been casually browsing is because everything we were finding in the range we're willing to pay didn't pass muster. We were looking on the Coast but too much money being asked for fairly mediocre properties, or things like high speed internet weren't available. Wife needs to have high speed internet because she works from home a lot and her business cloud requires good upload/download.

Place we're looking at tomorrow checks all the boxes so we're trying to snap it up before some Kommunist Refugee from Kalifornya does.

Alright....I wasn't going to say it....but it was gnawing at me.....don't be angry....but I have a hard time seeing you as an english teacher. I don't mean it as a slight, more an observation.

@shooter19802003 I'd say about 350-400 is avg here for a black bear. About 10 years ago a record breaker was shot the next county down from me that was over 700
