Are most local/ city driving jobs going to be labor intensive?

I'm recommending those companies to him, but Line Haul, not city.

 

depends too as far as line haul.

at some, you MUST work the docks at each terminal you go to. which is why i stayed away from them.

the only LTL carrier at the time where it was a true line haul run, was NEMF, which i was there for like 6.5 years, with NO dock work.

be careful, it's not all peaches and cream doing line haul for all companies, you will be putting together and breaking down the doubles (pups as we call them). you will be doing this all by yourself, in the dark, rain, wind, cold, snow, ice.

not fun, and you can get hurt. and if that happens at a compound yard (drop yard only) good luck till help arrives, which may not be till the next day.

no trucking job is with out hazards or hard work, and sometimes, back breaking at that too.
